Bible Study

2026 Calendar Meeting

Our 2026 Calendar meeting will be held today following service. All Ministry Leaders are asked to attend.

Membership Update

Dear Church Family – as we continue to grow and serve together we would like to stay connected with you, please take the time to contact your Deacon or the church secretary – Sister Anita Lindsey at 305.621.1991 on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 9 am -12 noon to complete an updated membership form to ensure your address, email and cell phone number are correctly recorded on our Church Directory..

As we continue to grow and serve together, we would also like to understand better the gifts, skills, and interests God has placed within our congregation.  We also kindly ask all members to take a few moments to update their membership profiles, especially the sections related to personal skills, talents, and areas of interest. Please help us: 

  • Connect you with meaningful ministry opportunities
  • Build stronger teams for Church programs and outreach
  • Serve one another more effectively as the body of Christ

Transportation Ministry

We are seeking a reliable, friendly individual to serve on our transportation ministry.

This ministry helps bring members and visitors to worship services on Sundays and is available for church outings.

This position pays a per diem of $50.00. Must be a Member of First Baptist and have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and a heart for service.

We would love to have you join our team! If interested, please get in touch with the Church Secretary at 305-621-1991.

New officers elected for 2026 will be held on Sunday, January 11th, immediately following the 11 am service.

Health Ministry

Get ready to transform from the inside out! Our 2026 Biggest Loser Weight Loss Challenge kick off has been been changed to Sunday, January 18, 2026, and runs for 8 weeks, March 15, 2026 in which we will experience intentional growth, encouragement, and accountability.

This challenge is about more than the number on the scale—it’s an opportunity to strengthen our physical bodies while also renewing our spiritual selves.

Together, we’ll focus on healthy habits, discipline, and stewardship of the bodies God has given us, while uplifting one another in prayer, fellowship, and faith. Initial weigh-ins will take place after service next Sunday, so come prepared to take the first step on this exciting journey.

Whether your goal is weight loss, better health, or spiritual renewal, this journey is for you. Let’s commit to growing stronger—body, mind, and spirit—together! We hope you’ll join us!

Registration fee- $20. 1st, 2nd & 3rd  Prizes will be awarded.

 

 

State of the Church

The annual State of the Church meeting will be held on Saturday January 31st – All members are encouraged to attend as we discuss our current year achievements and what is being planned for 2026. 

Calling All Youth

Youth Ministry AKA “Next Up” invites you to  Youth Sunday School every Sunday at 9:30 am. and Youth Church  every 2nd and 4th Sunday during the 11am service.

Parents, grandparents and guardians, please bring your youth to Sunday School and Youth Church.

Meet & Greet

The Youth & Youth Adult Ministry will be hosting a Meet & Greet  immediately following the 11AM service on Sunday, January 25, 2026 in the fellowship hall. So stop by and meet the personnel.

The Church Secretary office hours are Mon/Wed/Fri   9AM to 12PM.

Attention Ladies:

The monthly meeting of FBCBP Women’s Ministry will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Breakfast will be served at 9:30AM.  

Critical business matters will be addressed: Kick-off  year 2026, Planning of Women’s Conference cruise, May 2026, and  selection of new study book.
